31 K Microphone ?

I have a 2017 Minnie Winnie 31K. There is a Microphone clipped to the sun visor over the drivers seat. I have a Pioneer XM Satellite Radio and the manual describes very briefly how to install the microphone on page 58 but does not explain what it is for or how to operate it.

I trie dto add a picture, don't know if it took.

Does anyone have any idea what the darn thing is for?

It’s for your Bluetooth audio to talk during phone calls.

Thanks a bunch. I don't use that. Seems like redundancy to me since I can use the cell phone and also have the navigator, more correctly known as my wife. Now to the folks who would protest the cell phone, I am retired military, 29 years Army, I can talk on the radio and direct artillery at the same time.

SO, if I want to use that I will need to figure out how to get the bluetooth functioning.

"Hang up and drive." (It's illegal to be talking on a cellphone while driving in several states now, no matter how skilled you are.)
