Hello All, the old HighwayRanger took the plunge and bought a 2007 Winnebago Access 31C with the Chevrolet Vortec V-8 and Workhorse chassis. This is our our first motorhome (coming from a pop-up) and it will be the interim coach we'll use to get into the lifestyle, finish raising the kids, then we'll trade up to a fulltimer pusher. We'll see how Winnebago does over the next 4-5 years, and that will help us decide whether or not a 2012 Vectra is in the cards. The ball is in your court Winnebago!

How do I "officially" get Winnebago Owners Forum Member" status? Please let me know, Mr./Ms. Moderator!

Hope to see you all out on the road!

Welcome, and congradulations on your new winnie. I went from a po-up to a 19 ft TT, to a 28 ft class c to a 31 ft class a. Looks like you cut out a lot of steps.....

Amazing how many of us have the same story. My wife and I went from tent, pop-up, 19 ft. trailer, 35ft. trailer, 31 ft. Class C and finaly 33V suncruiser in 18 years, phew.

You took a short, cut good for you, have fun.

HighwayRanger,

Welcome to the forum. This is a great forum.

Let me/us know how you like the Workhorse, we will get our Itasca Sunova 34A with the Workhorse in about 2 weeks.

I can relate to that one.

We tossed the tent and went with a Lance Camper, then a 38' Toy Hauler then the Hurricane 31H Class A and now an Itasca Sunova 34A Class A which I should have in 2 weeks or less. All of this happened in 4 years.

Welcome Highway Ranger!

We bought the same model last year, the Access 31C with the Chevy/Workhorse setup.

Spent 8 weeks traveling the east coast and it was FANTASTIC.

Our first RV also, and just wish we would have bought it sooner.
