We have a 26a minnie winnie. Usually drive at 59-64 mph. Tow jeep 2 dr. Worst mpg ever 6.95mpg. Best 8.6mpg. Usually about 8 is what I get if I minimize cruise control use. I seem to get almost 1mpg better if NOT using cc. I DO use cc when it's flat, never on hills. I will tend to let speed decrease uphill 50mph? Then increase downhill to maybe 70+. Big downhills I engine brake in "4".

Gary,

Sounds like you and I are in the same camp. I'm like you, using CC on flat, not on hills. 7.5-8.0, like I said earlier, is what I've learned to expect, on a long term trend, when dealing with this in various terrain and towing.
