I would assume that your Class C came with an Onan 4K generator. Yes?

If so, I don’t know of any replacements for such a built in gen set.

Honda does not make generators for RVs. If you fit one in, it is not setup or warrantied for RV use. Onan generators are designed for use in RVs and carry all of the electrical and fire rating that are needed.

I suggest you live with what you have. It meets the National Forest Service noise standards for loudness and therefore is pretty quiet despite what you think of it.

I looked up your unit. You've got a built in 4,000-watt Cummins Onan® Microquiet generator.

I believe the answer to your question is... Nope. You can't replace that Generator with a quieter one.

(Not reasonably you can't. You could pull that one out, Put a Honda in a tow vehicle or on a hitch mounted shelf and then do as millions of Travel Trailer owners do when they don't have a built in Generator.}

I figured as much. I realize that the Oman is suppose to be quiet. But it’s still loud, I was just hoping that maybe someone has tried to convert it over. But oh well....

Is it the sound, or vibration?
If its vibration, some better isolators could be used at the mounting points. Not sure I a Honda muffler would be compatible with a Onan genset.
