Openings under 22M slide out bed

Hi - Has anyone tried to address the 2 big openings under the bed into the storage area on a 22M when the slide is out?



Just seems like a good way for spiders and such to get into the living area when camping


I know it would have to be inserted and then removed when the slide is brought in. I was thinking of playing with some pool noodles to see if they would fill the gaps.

Hi Ben & Miriam,
The storage area underneath the bed is sealed from the outside, providing the exterior hatch is kept shut. I would guess that bugs would only get in there if they hitched a ride on equipment you store in there. I believe if you watch for that, you should have no problems.
On a similar concern, any potential smelly sewer stuff you store in there might well be kept in a storage tote with a good lid.

I agree with all that but it’s just so strange to see the bedroom wall when I’m down rummaging around in the storage bay :-)
