Problem with hydraulic stabilizer alarm

Hello, we are new rv-ers having recently purchased a 2021 Winnebago View on a 2020 sprinter chassis.

1. The hydraulic stabilizer alarm has gone off twice when starting the engine. The advice (from LaMesa Tech support) told us to reboot the system which worked the first time. The second time, the alarm continued even after rebooting.

At At no time were the stabilizers extended when the alarm went off.

H Has anyone else had this problem? Advice is appreciated

Who makes the system, Kwikee, HWH, Lippert?

I would call Winnebago and ask them.

With that said, I had a 2008 Winnebago Destination and about a year and a half after I purchased it the jack alarm would sound. Drove me crazy until I removed the control board and added a switch to turn the power off to the control board.

Have you checked the fluid in the reservoir? Also look at each jack and see if there is shiny silver exposed. A little may be okay but there will be a limit where the "reed" (magnetic) switch disengages and will cause the alarm to sound.

Other's will be along shortly to give better detailed information.

Lippert jack alarm

Every time I turn on my motorhome I get the alarm that jacks are down. I turn on the lippert autoleveler and push retract jacks. This clears the alarm. I too tried the reset that LaMesa recommended with no success.
This started after I had a leaking hose replaced in the system. Check your tank level to ensure you are not low on fluid.

When we first picked up our View last summer, the alarm for the stabilizers was triggered, indicating the system didn't believe the stabilizers were fully retracted.

When we had our HWH leveling system installed, we had the stabilizers removed because they were no longer needed, and getting rid of them regained some of the cargo capacity we lost when the levelers were added.
