Rear Hatch Needs Tightening

Hi!

I have a 2012 Cambria 30 C. I love it and it has served me very well. My rear compartment hatch is weakening and needs to be tightened. It occasionally will drop down, sometimes on my head if I am reaching for something in the compartment, especially in windy conditions. How can I tighten the hatch so it will not fall on me?

A picture of it would help. If it has gas shocks you most likely need to replace them.

If it has one or two of those little hydraulic cylinders, there is no repair, only replace.
