Rear Window Leak 2021 Minnie Winnie 26T

Found the rear escape window on my 2021 MW 26T is leaking into the wall. No evidence of water leaking into the RV but the rear wall is delaminating. Just started in the last 2 months. Damage is only at the bottom left corner when looking out. Anybody else having this issue?

Repairs cost 10K, 5K just for an entire new rear wall. Winnebago won’t cover it stating it is outside the basic warranty and structural warranty. Good Sam extend warranty won’t cover it. Progressive RV insurance won’t cover it stating it is not a “sudden” leak.

This is likely to be one of those things that many are not aware of when they first start the RV game. RV take a lot of maintenance!

They need increased care and lots of careful watching to avoid problems.
Likely covered in section 11 of the owners manual.
Sorry to hear of the problems but it is simply one of the things we have to deal with as we learn what it takes to keep the beasts on the road!

Nothing in the owners manual regard maintenance for the escape window. I do inspect all the seals periodically. Also no evidence of a degradation on the seals on the outside or inside.
