Replacement closet light

The closet light in my Winnebago View is not working - it got so hot the plastic melted. The light fixture holds a 12V bulb and a momentary contact normally closed switch. Closing the closet door depresses the pin interrupting the current and turning off the light. I'd like to replace it with an LED light, but can't find anything that works the same. Does anyone have any ideas on a replacement light fixture? Preferably with an LED light. I could stick a pushbutton LED light to the inside top of the closet, but I was looking for something that is actuated by the door like the original.
Thanks,
Chris

I used some magnetic switches to wire up our closet lights replacing the pressure switches. I just used some 12v decent LED strip to do it.

I don't think I did anything special to get it working but you should make sure the LED lights won't heat up too much. My first attempt was with cheaper LED's and they only lasted about the first time my wife left the door open for more than 5 minutes.

Thanks Oldchinahand, that is the equivalent LED replacement I was looking for! I must not have been searching for "wardrobe light".
