I own a 2017 Winnebago Navion 24J and after doing my first oil change, tried going through the steps to reset my service interval prompt on the dash. After numerous failed attempts, I contacted Mercedes Service department and was told that beginning in 2017, the vehicle needs to have the service interval prompt reset at the dealer. They have to also do a safety check if you've done your own service... $$$
I also read in "Shop Class as Soulcraft" that new Mercedes no longer have a dipstick. The Service Engine" light comes on and you.... take it to the dealer.
All of these units have an OBD11 service port or ALDL located under the dashboard
With a compatible scan tool the service reset can be performed after the appropriate work is complete. If you don’t have one of these tools any competent service professional should be able to do it for you
