Under Slide Compartment Access Minnie Winnie 31G

Hi there hope you all are enjoying the road. Question: When I have my slider out what do you use to access the compartments below to stay open. The other side has those clips to keep the doors open but with the slide out it can be a challenge. Thanks in advance

It's easier on a Class A, but that doesn't mean it's easy. Back in the 2010's manufacturers for a while put the compartments on the bottom of the slides, so that when they were extended the compartment came with the slide. But that just created other problems.

I try to diligently get out of the motorhome when setting up and getting out everything I'll need BEFORE putting out the slides - the BBQ, Water and Power equipment. I"m pretty good at that. But it often seems I forgot something or need something I didn't plan on using and I have to do the "duck and squat" to get to some things. And, at 74 I don't "duck and squat" very well at all.

I'm almost 78. You might try the lie and roll method. Not really- I do the "duck and squat" as well with a little grunting.

PVC

I cut a piece of 3/4" pvc pipe to prop the covers open and just drop it inside compartment when done. Just remember to to unprop when moving the slideout.
