Adding an external AC power cord to my Drop 170S

I bought a 15 Amp AC Port Plug some time ago (too late to return) with the intention of drilling a 2" hole in the side of Winnie 170s Drop. I haven't done the install yet because I am still trying to figure out the location to drill through the side...both for FUNCTION and not knowing where the frame of the camper lies.

But I had not considered that the 20 amp service at the Power Pedestal is on the same circuit as the 30 amp. That is disappointing. Hopefully my needs are not to aggressive and will be ok. Our challenge is that we pretty much can only run the AC...or the coffee maker...or any other 1500w item...hot water heater, microwave or hair dryer. So, it is exactly like the Green Acres video. AC pulls 13.3 and coffee maker pulls 11-13a. Our power cord gets hot, and the Hughes Autoformers PWD30-EPO Power Watchdog shuts the electricity down. Base amps is about 2.

So, two questions. If AC is running through 30 amp service...and fans, etc. And coffee maker is pulling ~12 through the extra outlet, think that will be ok for the total draw on the power pedestal?

Second question is about location. Your suggestion to follow the other...but that means the plug would be in the bathroom. But to put one in the kitchen area is the slide, and that seems awkward to have a cord dropping down from the slide. So, your suggestion to follow the existing power is the most logical. Does anybody have an pictures of what it looks like under the skin of the camper siding? IOW, should I drill above or below the other power, or to the side, etc.

Thanks for ya'lls time.

I don't think you have anything to worry about in the majority of properly wired campground pedestals.

Thanks for the reply!

BTW, I had posted this as a reply to a previous thread on the same topic, and was actually two questions to other peoples replies. I do understand the logic of new thread vs old thread. Thanks for making the decision to move it.

As for where to put the plug, I found where one member posted diagrams for their camper, but I can not find anything for the Winnie Drop 170s. Any leads on finding diagrams for the 170 series?

Thanks!!
