Any Need for a Tongue Jack Kill Switch?

Has anyone found the need for a separate power (kill) switch for a power tongue jack? I have concerns that someone could inadvertently raise or lower my power tongue jack causing damage to stabilizers on my recently purchase 2017 Micro Minnie 2106FDS.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If you set the stabilizers in place and then accidentally run the hitch jack all the way up, you won’t hurt the stabilizers.

No need for a separate switch. Just unnecessary complexity.
