Battery box fills with water, looking for solutions.

On my trailer, the battery box sits right where the rain run off from the nose is. The battery box has vents on the top and I generally see them on all battery boxes. This is leading to water filling up in my battery box. I did drill some holes on the side where I knew the battery was not laying and it gets some of it, but not enough.

Anyone else having this issue and have a solution?

Yeah, I guess that's the easy solution. I guess I was getting at is there an RV specific battery box that does not allow water into it? Not from what I can see. Holes it is.

After 2 weeks of steady rain, my battery boxes were completely full too because of where they sit--right under the nose. I pulled out the batteries, drill 4 holes in the bottom of each box. Glad I caught it.
