Ford backup camera
Has anyone put the Ford camera on their trailer and figured a way to hide the wire along the back wall? I was considering going along the ladder and that would be OK except the horizontal run at the top. Thinking about a wire hiding solution now, like the plastic channels they sell to hide TV cords. I've seen some people hide it in the trim pieces at edges but I don't think that's possible on a Winnie.
Or has anyone mounted a backup camera just above spare tire?
I may try to find wireless camera that works with phone... Or just deal with another screen on the dash. Would probably be helpful to keep Ford screen on... And the rear camera at same time and not have to toggle between them when while backing up.

Many RV do have spaces to run wires at the top of the wall but the real answer depends on what RV you have?????
Would you be familiar with fishing a wall?

Winnebago will send the drawings for the framing of the back wall if you request them. On my trailer, it might be possible to pull the wire directly up inside the wall (fiberglass insulation and aluminum studs without horizontal obstructions).
Otherwise it does seem like you've identified the primary options. I might go up the ladder and across on the roof. Then consider mounting high (at edge of roof) or tossing vanity and just running the wire down the back wall 12" to the existing camera mount. Eventually Ford will go wireless with this (not sure why they didn't originally).

Sorry I have a 2021 2301bhs.
Yes I am familiar with fishing a wall.... Have a nice fiberglass fish line I could use... Problem is the underside is covered and I don't want to go ripping through that... Unless I am making a bigger deal of that than it is.
I think I might go wireless, use the power wire and pre installed spot, and then get two side cameras on the side markers... That way I can leave the side marker cameras going as I drive. Will just have to deal with another screen in cab of truck.

I made a little wooden mount that holds both the Furion monitor and the TPMS monitor. It just sits in the central recessed part of the dash above the Ford display.

When faced with fishing a wall, there are almost always hazards involved if we can't see what they put under the covers!
If it were a motorhome, there are often drawings which show where the camera wiring is hidden under the top edge. Much of the same design is used on trailers but we don't get the info posted online.
You "might" be able to get some good ideas on running wires by looking at some of the motorhome info to get an idea of the amount of space at different points like the top and corners?
One way to get some info on what might be in there is to use one of the "stud finder" type gizmos which show a picture as you move along the wall. Somewhat like an X-ray?
One of the ways I have used to check what I might find is to drill a small hole where I'm going to mount the item and then use a small stiff wire like fish tape to run in that small hole to sense and "feel" if the space is open all the way to the far end.
Then if that fails to work, I can cover the hole with filler and mount the item over it!
This is AFTER talking to the customers and agreeing that I will try to hide the wires but it may not work! I find they don't mind the hole as long as they have it covered and know I tried to do better!

I use a wired backup camera and really didn't worry about hiding the cable.

What did you use to secure wire? The Ford camera wire appears to be considerably thicker than yours.... It is multiple wires wrapped in a much too big semi rigid sleeve as thick as your pinky... From videos I've seen. I guess I could remove that sleeve and heat shrink the portion that's going up from underneath. Maybe white shrink.

Nice. That's what I'll do if I go wireless.
