Crazy how they hide things like this. I found a barrel fuse under the panel below the kitchen sink--I believe it's for the water pump. But for winterizing my trailer I'd never know it was there, although I probably would have found it reasonably quickly if my water pump wasn't working.

I was all set to replace the battery, thinking the short that tripped that breaker fried the battery, even though I got two different readings, one good and one bad, from my two meters that I used to test it. If the water pump goes, I'll be checking that fuse under the sink!

This is an AWESOME schematic! Did you guys cook it up? I have a photo of my junction box in my 2019 2108DS and can believe it's a perfect match to what you are showing here. I think I'll get out my multimeter and do some verifying.

Thanks for sharing! Now I just need to make more schematics of the rest...and ideally of the rough routing of all the wires. It's one thing to check this stuff out while the rig is in my backyard, but another when it's on the road and I'm trying to diagnose something that broke.

This helped me thanks! I unfortunatelt didnt have time to search for a fix prior to taking off in the early morning. All my fridge food was ruined!

We had a bad electrical time, on the way out my battery went low and caused the fridge to turn off from propane. Food was bad on arrival. I also couldnt get the jack down but thankfully I had a socket wrench to do it manually.

Bought a new battery and then next morning nothing worked. Somehow tripped the 30amp fuse on the jack and tripped the whole system after the battery.

It was extremely rainy at camp so I think that might have caused some issue with the fuse getting wet and burning up.

Micro Minnie Junction Box

Hello, this is from an earlier exchange about those hidden reset breakers on Micro Minnies (ours is a 2018 2106ds). This might give more info and help.

Happy travels!

This discussion inspired me to produce a fairly complete external wiring diagram for the micro minnies (and probably many other models) that you can find in this thread as a PDF: https://www.winnieowners.com/forums/...ml#post3890810

I have a 2019 and things are slowly changing, but very slowly. Attached is a picture of that breaker that's hidden in the middle of the junction box to give some perspective of the little black button on the side that you are trying to tap to reset it.

Thanks for bumping this up to the top of the thread BB. I wish there was a way for the mods to create a sticky for informative topics such as this!

Why would they put exposed positive wires and posts inside a negative metal junction box?

The purpose of a junction box is to protect exposed wires and posts from inadvertent contact with anything else. These exposed positive wires and posts are secured and not allowed to flop around in the metal box. Does this answer your question?

I get that, but they could have at least put a cover over it like the breaker just outside the box.
Same as leaving hot wires exposed in a junction box in a house. Nobody would do that. Especially since it’s Direct current and not ac

Many many years ago a mod on a forum I frequented said that if you want to make sure no one reads a post, just make it a sticky. That obviously still holds true today.

My question is.....why in God's green earth would they place it in a hidden, difficult to reach location? How many of us RVers are 'good ole boys? (and women!). Difficult to reach, troubleshoot or repair!
Think of the customer would ya!

I believe in 2021 Winnebago moved the pesky breaker out of the metal junction box.

Micro Minnie no power, slide won’t work

I have a 2023 2108FBS Micro Minnie. I had no power inside when on battery power. When on shore power, I had power inside but slide wouldn’t work. Thank goodness this thread led me to the issue. After checking battery cut off switch was on, inside breakers all set, batteries charged, and fuses good I went searching for other breakers. There is a breaker outside on drivers A arm with a tiny reset button on the top of it. Just push it and problem resolved.

Glad you got it going. That pesky breaker is famous among Winnebago owners.
