We are scheduled to pick up our rig soon. Does anyone know if a regular foam 10” mattress will fit to replace the split mattress that comes stock?

The issue is that there is not enough vertical space on the wall for a full length mattress. That’s why the mattress is split, such that one part of the split mattress will slide under the other so the platform can be raised with both parts of the mattress fitting in the space behind the sofa. Some people have modified the trailer by cutting out the overhead shelf over the sofa to make room for a full length mattress. We’ve considered doing that too, but don’t want to lose the storage space. Others have simply purchased a mattress topper that will roll/fold so that it fits behind the platform when the bed is raised.
