Hi Carl,
If you are using a 1lb gas bottle, it has a male fitting, and you’re screwing into a female fitting on your grill. If you can remove the female fitting from the grill, it should expose a threaded male end pipe. Most quick-connect (to R.V.) hoses have a female fitting to connect to grill. Measure the threaded male end piece of your grill and order a hose with the matching female thread. There’s only a couple of standard sizes. 3/8” Most common.

I thought I'd share a photo of my inexpensive propane lock. It's not going to stop anyone who is determined, but it might make the casual thief in the storage lot move onward.

This modification may have been posted here but I didn't notice. My wife found it on FB and requested that I do it as well. It's been a great modification.
It's simply a hinge that allows the storage area to be opened without fighting the back cushion. The whole wooden panel can be removed as always ("fixed" side is not screwed into place). It does have a 1x2 glued to the underside of the panel to provide support for the long span (runs directly under the "fixed" part of the hinge) .
There is also a 3/4" notch in the far corner so the panel misses the window-shade guides when you open it.

This is a great modification! I have yet to store anything under here, but this is very simple to execute and will be very helpful once I actually need the space!

First trip with our 2021 1800BH, and the only real issue I had was that the fridge flew open at some point. We got really lucky in that a jar of pickles fell out, but did not break. That would have been a mess!
This is the 12V Dometic Compressor fridge. Looking at it, the door latch does not engage properly. Anybody else have this issue?
We also had the cabinet doors some open sometimes, but that is a simpler issue with obvious fixes.

I use these spring loaded bars in cabinets and the refrigerator.

Yeah, seen those, but I think that fridge door simply needs to stay closed. I don't think it's good to have it swinging around. The 12V fridge holds a lot of things in the door, so it weighs a lot.

Wow, I'm surprised not to find some nice latches on amazon. Am I going to have to resort to a velcro strap or something?

We load up the compressor fridge door first with heavier stuff like liquids, milk juice beer water soda and wine, so there’s nothing heavy enough to bang into the door and knock it open while traveling. Spring bars keep contents from falling out when you open the door. No problems now. No BLM roads yet in this rig, so idk for sure

Power Inverter
Am looking at ~2000 Watt Pure Sine inverter to run microwave and other simple appliances (no A/C). Seems a simpler option than a 2000 watt generator. Any recommendations on selecting an inverter?

Your inverter decision should not be made independently of all other electrical system considerations, such as your current battery and charging equipment, and any plans you may have to upgrade your electrical components. For example, if you are considering upgrading battery bank, you may want to consider an inverter/charger. Buying an inverter before your system plans are solid could be an expensive mistake.

I agree with Marine359. If you are going to use an inverter to its full potential of 2000 watts then that will require 167 amps + at 12 volts. Where are you going to get that much current for more than a few minutes. This will require some very heavy duty wiring also. I know you don't want a generator but I bought this Super Quiet light weight generator in February and love it. Starts first pull every time. Think about it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Working on the off-grid power installation of my 1800BH. 4 x 100W solar, 3000W inverter/charger, 2 x 170 AH LiFe.
I reinforced the half-wall under the bed with 3/4" plywood (birch veneer left-overs actually), mostly to take the weight of the Inverter, but also serve as a stable back-plane to secure the electrical gear to.
I have to figure out where to put the little monitoring panels for the system. Easiest place is on the half-wall of the bed. But I'd really like to have them in the rats-nest-box to the left of the upper cabinets. But pulling the wire up there seems like a real chore!
Anybody know what type of breakers these trailers use?

Mounting Solar gear
We mounted the monitoring panels above the microwave oven. Most of our monitoring is via bluetooth on a cellphone.
The only stock DC breakers in the Minnie tend to be 1 or 2 self-resetting breakers which we eliminated in favor of resettable breakers in a more accessible location.

Where is that location? I don't recognize it.
I'm aware a lot of this is available on bluetooth, but a few issues:
1) I've got the Renogy battery monitor, and there is no BT option for that.
2) I've got wifi/bluetooth gear all over my house, and flat out, it's not reliable. All brands. All the time. It doesn't "just work" so backup manual controls are necessary. Most of the time, it's flat out easier to just use a manual light switch.
