Question about Micro Minnie Murphy bed
Hi. We are looking at the 2018 2106 or 2108 with the Murphy bed. I want to confirm the size because some sources say it’s a queen bed and others show it as 54x74 which is double bed width. I would appreciate if someone could confirm the dimension at either 54” or 60”.
Thanks

I've also noticed that discrepancy when looking at the Micro Murphy beds. I'm picking up our brandy new 2108 tomorrow! Woohoo right?
My guess is the floorplans provided by Winnebago are correct which means the Murphy is 54x74 -full not queen. Some of the online shysters - and they are shysters so buyer beware - say it's a "queen size bed" which would be 60x80 but again, my gut tells me Winnie has it right on their website.
It wasn't a deal breaker for us though. We like keeping things compact when we're traveling anyway. Afterall, that's why we're going with the Micro in the first place. Pulling a 36 or even 28' camper up into the places we go would not be my idea of a good time. Full sized mattress will be just fine. At least for us.

Congrats on your trailer! We want a compact trailer too and were attracted to the Murphy bed models because they feel more spacious with the bed up. But a double width bed is a deal killer for us. The 2106FBS has a queen width. Just not a Murphy, which would be ok.

Queen beds are nice no doubt but we really wanted a fixed dinette so we went with the 2108. Eating and playing cards on a dinette table was something we really missed when we went from a pop up to the R-pod so having a dinette made trading the queen bed for a full worth it. But stretching out on that full size couch in the 2106 would be nice too. The 2106 and the 2108 are both great floorplans. I guess it just depends on what your priorities are.

I was on the phone today with Jennifer at Winnebago and I asked her if she thought they might bring out a 2108 FBS (Queen bed), she said "funny you should ask, a lot of people have been asking that". She is supposed to do some checking/questioning with her colleagues and get back to me on that along with a couple more questions I had. Since the 19's are already out it probably won't happen till the 20's, if it happens at all. What I'd really like to see is a 2108FBS and 7.5 feet wide!

The Micro Minnies used to be 7.5 feet wide! I think a lot of people would like to see a return to those days.

Not being real used to pulling a camper, I really like the 7' width. For the two of us the size has been just right. We lived in it for about two and a half weeks and were very comfortable.

We have a 2018 2106DS. Murphy Bed. purchased memory foam for a full size bed and it fit perfect. We use sheets for a full sized bed like you buy for your home.

Just bought a 2018 model 2106FBS and the bed is 60" wide and 72" long. It's called a short queen.

I have a question but for the bed you can make where the dinette table is. We have a 2108ds. We have tried to make the bed by lowering the top of the table to the corresponding edges, and then lay the cushions down on the surface. However, we were not able to keep the cushions together since apparently they are too big. If we make some pressure, one of the cushion is bended and eventually it pops up. Am I doing something wrong? Anybody out there with the same issue? Thanks

We have the same problem. I was thinking about upzipping one of the seat cushions and cutting about a half inch off.
I haven't figured out how to do it yet without the right tool!

The RV dealer finally recognized that the cushions were too wide. They measured them and there were about 4 inches wider than it should be. They actually took the cushions of a 2019 model and they fitted perfectly. They let me use those for my next trip while they receive an answer from the factory. I’ll keep you posted.

The Murphy bed on the 2108DS is definitely a "full" size. We got our 2020 last week and
I bought the sheets and put them on yesterday. Be sure you do not buy the extra deep fitted as they will hang off! These fit very well and say up to 14" mattress. Full size is one of the gives and takes of a 7 ft wide trailer. And there is so much storage in the trailer!! Also, love the new doors under the dinette! So easy to get items in and out!

Full size for sure. Buy the full sheets, fitting up to a 14" mattress.
