Replacement Cost for Awning?

We're getting our 2019 2106 FBS tomorrow and our insurance agent is asking for an estimated cost to replace the awning if it happened to get damaged. Does anyone have an idea what this amount would be?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Diferent awnings are direrent prices. I suggest you call a place that does awnings and give them the brand name of the awning you have to get a price. Camping world could also give you a price, or a mobile awning guy.

Kind of strange the insurance guy is asking this. Awnings have been standard on pretty much all RV's for quite some time now. It's not something he should have to add extra coverage for. Maybe he is trying to inflate your rate? Also, if an awning is damaged, you never know what the damage will be, and it might include damage to the RV itself.

I have owened three different RV's and have never been asked that question. If this is your normal insurance guy you might want to shop around with companies that regularly insure RV's. Progressive, Gieco and Good Sam actively insure RV's.
