What to make my 2108 DS shine!

Hi folks! I need to find out what I need to do to clean and shine my Micro Minnie.
What products and how to use them properly should I buy to make my “Little Red” shine like a diamond.
Thanks Dave V.

It might help to specify the year because the 2020 and on are different material than the 2019s and before. Since the name is "Little Red" I'm going to assume it's 2019 or older, and if so, I'd like to hear an answer too since I have a 2019 and will be taking on this task shortly.

We had just cleaned and shined our 2108DS just before our trip we are on now on the coast of Maine.

Our unit is a 2019 with the original Noble Classic fiberglass sidewalls in the champagne color and TPO roof.

What we use to clean is Murphy's Oil Soap on the roof and Blue Coral Car Wash on the walls diluted to each of the manufacturer's directions.

On the decals we use 303 Protectant first and then we wax the walls with Meguiar's 56 Marine / RV Pure Wax. Doing the 303 first we are trying to protect the edges of the decals from the wax that the decal manufactures warn you against.

If the 303 on the decals becomes streaked an additional washing of the unit with the car wash makes it shine even better and eliminates streaks if the 303 was applied a bit heavy.

I hope that this info helps and I am sure that you will be pleased with the results.

Brian

Hi Folks! Ours is a 2018 2108DS. I didn’t know they changed sidewall material. This is our first attempt so we want to make sure we’re doing it right. All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave.

Murphy's on the roof seems like a good idea. I would mop on Aerospace 303 after rinsing the roof, would you recommend that? I Googled using 303 on EPDM and TPO roofs and found no anti-303 comments.

303 on fiberglass exterior sidewalls gets great reviews from not only RV people but also boat people. 303 seems easier to apply compared to waxing, not just the decals but all of the fiberglass exterior.

Hi SonofBert,
Yes, the TPO manufactures I researched recommended Murphy's Oil Soap as being safe and did indicate that using a protectant or sealer was unnecessary. The 303 web site indicates that it is safe for synthetic and natural rubbers so it should be safe to use but I haven't used 303 on the roof since it was not specified by the manufactures.

I also read the same reviews regarding using 303 on gel coat and believe it would work fine though I think the Meguiar's 56 would last longer and provide a better gloss.

Dave V.,
It appears that Gold Eagle currently owns the 303 brand.

Roadrunner is correct, Gold Eagle is the owner of 303. I bought a bottle of the stuff just last week from Ace Hardware. Just under $20 here in Anchorage, AK.

Thanks Roadrunner! I’ll try Amazon for 303 as we in Canada don’t have Ace.
I’m going to use Meguiar’s 50 as recommended by other owners who like it because you don’t have to use a buffer.

I have used 303 Protectant for decades on boats, motorcycles, cars and trucks. It is freaking amazing.
