Winnebago Minnie 2401RG (Rear Galley) EMS Install?

Hello, I think I've decided to go with a hardwired EMS device instead of a portable surge protector device.

We have a 2020 Minnie 2401RG. Can anyone tell me where this should be installed, and how much of a hassle it would be?

There's a fusebox near the kitchen floor, below the control panel. Also, above the dinette is the stereo unit, and the sales person said the cabinet space behind it contains various wiring. That might just be related to the stereo and TV, but I saw a YT video where an owner of another trailer installed his back there.

Thanks in advance!

John

I'm not sure where your shore power enters the TT or your distribution panel is located. I have a 2500FL and put the EMS under the closet floor adjacent to the distribution panel. I ran the cable for the display to come out of the louvers for the heater air intake; it's far enough from the heater box not to be an issue.

Your shore power enters the wall behind your sink cabinet. If you remove the right side false panel under your sink, you will see the backside of the shore power connector and 10/2 romex that feeds your power center. There is room here, but there is a lot of plumbing in this location, so I'd choose elsewhere. The cable should run aft, behind the drawers and range to the power center. Behind the power center is probably the best location, but there might be room behind the drawers too. Make sure to get a remote display or a model with bluetooth, as none of these locations will be visible.
