Winter storage

My owners manual for our new 26rbss says to not store outside during the winter. That snow weight etc can cause damage and leaks. I知 in northern Michigan and not nearby in the winter to keep an eye on it. Is this true? I see plant of travel trailers left out during the winter. What do all of you do if you live around snowfall?

No snow where I live, but if you had a heavy, wet snowfall, you should probably get it off. A foot of dry snow weighs about 3 lbs/sq ft while wet snow can weigh 21 lbs/sq ft. There's quite a bit online concerning this issue if you Google it. Here's one FYI:

Given the manual warning, don't expect any snow damage to be covered by your warranty.
