Wanted: Starfish for Domtec awning needed.

I ordered a new tension system because the ratchet on mine was toast. It came and sat around for about a week or so before I took the awning frame down to make a new curtain. I was headed to the dump so took the old spring system.

...then, the very next day, I started work on the tube only to find out that the 'starfish' (for lack of a better word) that goes inside the tube must have fallen off the end of my new tension spring gizmo... Cannot find anywhere... yatta-yatta.

Any chance one you have a dead awning or after replacing your device - did not trash the old part? I'd like to buy it. Thanks.

'Found one - with a spring and end cap on eBay. Will sell the end cap and spring ...back on eBay. I am making a new awning out of a dense mesh material. Thanks. Jim

I'm glad you were able to find it, Jim. Take some pics of the new awing project and post them; I'd love to see how it goes.
