Third Brake Light

I have a 2001 Itasca and looking to replace the faded center third brake light. I would like to replace it with a LED light bar. So far the bars I have looked at come with the wiring on the left side. Has anyone found a center wired system?

Contact Lichtsinn Motors Parts Dept at the following link as the will most likely have what you need. Try and have the serial # of your mh when you call. We replaced ours several months ago for around $25. Good service, fair pricing.

I replaced mine and over the past 2 years, it has faded out again. It is not in the sun where stored but does get exposed to day light and that fads is. The led bar inside of the light is red so the faded outside lens does not effect the color of the light when you step on the brake -- I would save your money and not replace it.

If you happen to be near Idaho.. I-80 truck plazza

In Flordia it's Pedro's "South of the border"

There are a whole lot more.. i've been to 3 or 4 of them over the years.

These are called "Chrome shops" by the truckers,, Bling for your truck. and they have about the largest collecction of lights you will ever find.

Jim, you mentioned headlight lens restorer. At the risk of being asked, "What part of headlight don't you understand", would the restorer also work on dull tail light lens?

A plastic lens is a plastic lens.. Yes, it works on the tails and turn lenses. All the kit does is buff/polish to remove the outer degraded layer. Like compound for paint, or metal polish for chrome.
