Magnadyne Radio Help.

Our Magnadyne M9900 CDS - AM/FM/wb/ & CD Sterio Receiver - Sirius Ready just quit working.

No lights, No Clock, Remotes does not do anything, found fuse on back of radio - metered OK - Fuse labeled Radio under dash - metered OK - Changed to Aux Batt. - no help.

Having a hard time checking the wiring harness - my hands are too big.

How do you get the radio out of the Dash? I have two horseshoe shaped steel rods. Can't get the radio to budge.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

We have a 2006 Winnebago Sightseer 35N - 37,000 miles

My 2007 Winn. Tour has a DC circuit breaker for the radio. You may want to check for that and also check behind the circuit breaker to make sure the wires did not pull out of the back of the breaker (it happened to me).

There is also a small 'reset' hole on the front of the radio. Try sticking the end of a paper clip in there too.

Good luck!

Found the reset button, no help.

Where is the circuit breaker located?

Thanks

The two horseshoe shaped rods plug into two small holes on each side of the front of the radio. Just push them in as far as you can and then they will release the holding tabs and you can then just pull the radio straight out.

Sammie,

I tried pushing the rods into the holes, but only one side seems to release. Any ideas?

Thanks,

You need to push both horseshoes in both sides at the same time then try pushing the radio in gently and then pulling it out while the rods are still inserted.

My DC breaker was in the front driver side cubbie. You may have them under your entry step or near your AC breakers.

Well, I didn't have to remove the radio after all.

I decided to try to make sure it was getting power. I found a "voltage conditioner/ voltage regulator/ transformer" in line on the power feed. I just cut the "conditioner" out of the line.

I reconnected the wires through a 10 amp fuse holder. Now everything is working great again.

Thanks all for your help.
