Need help Identifying wires (photo)
Today I was hooking up the Direct TV receiver to the King Dome and came across these two small wires. They feed back to the front cap and I have no clue what they are. Any guess?

Do you have the HDMI Matrix system in the RV. They go in front of the Sat receiver or any other device so it can be controlled from whatever room it is selected in. Follow the wire back to the HDMI matrix box to see which channel it is plugged into.
So if you have the sat receiver plugged into HDMI 2 on the matrix the IR emitter that is plugged into Channel 2 to operate the receiver.

You stick them on the little blue light (there may not be a little blue light) on your satellite receiver (they have a sticky side). I'm assuming that you have the buffet with the retractable TV in it. Somewhere around the TV is a black button about the size of a quarter that is an IR receiver (mine is up in the valence above the TV). When you point your satellite remote control at the IR receiver button above the TV, the signal is carried to the satellite receiver in the cabinet.
The idea is that you can close the cabinet door and still control the satellite receiver with the remote control. Other electronics can be controlled the same way just by sticking the IR emitter on it and using the remote control.

Here's a link that describes how they are used in a home (or RV) theater system.

Excellent explanation! Now it makes sense. I do have the retractable TV in the buffet, and all along I thought I would have to aim the remote at the open cabinet. Thanks a bunch!

vegas1, below is a drawing showing the location of the IR receiver by the TV. When you point a remove at the receiver the IR signal will be repeated at the emitter.
One is for the DVD player and the other is for the satellite receiver.

We have the Niles system in our rig. Bought two of the emitters off Amazon a couple weeks ago as I needed one more for our old Direct TV receivers. Rig came with HD receives that use radio remotes so they worked with the cabinet doors closed. Now using the SD receivers from the stick house and they only use IR.

I have wires like that and had no clue what they were for.
Have learned so much from this site.
Great people.
Thanks

Hopefully your IR Extender system works better then mine. They work great if I'm setting right beside them, but once I set across the coach from the NO JOY.
