I've decided to upgrade my in-dash stereo/monitor to a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX, so I can get a better bluetooth connection for my phone and Android Auto capability . Does anyone know how to get the old unit out? I think I saw a thread here but can't find it now.

I've considered the same thing. I use iHeart radio or Audible when driving, and having to plug the phone in is annoying. Just guessing, but the bezel must pop off and there should be clips holding the unit in. Have you looked at the owners manual or searched for an installation guide?

I've looked it over, the entire bezel has to come off. There appears to be 6 screws down near the bottom of the bezel where the 12V power outlet and USB connector are. I assume, that pulling those screws will allow me to pop off the entire bezel and access the stereo.

I found that there are five screws that hold the bezel to the dash. When you remove those, the whole bezel, including the stereo, come away from the dash giving you access to the screws that mount the stereo. Pretty easy from that on. I'll take some pictures and post them here.

Just completed the installation of the new stereo. Really quite easy, just remove the five lower screws of the bezel and pull down a bit and the whole bezel can then tilt away from the dash. Then you remove the four screws holding the stereo in an pull it out towards the front of the MH. You can then turn it around and get to all the cables in the back. It was then just a matter of moving the cables from the old unit to the new one. Not too bad at all.
