Winnebago CB Prep

Has anyone used the Winnebago CB prep to install a CB? I found the power wires marked CB up under the left side of the dash, but can't find the coax. The drawing lists power, ground, coax.

Also, is one of the antennas at the front clip for CB? One is radio, but can't figure what the other is. The satellite radio is a flat one on the left.

I'd think the folks to ask would be here:

Contact Winnebago Industries | Call, Mail, or Visit Winnebago

I like to start with Winnebago owners themselves first. First hand experience always results in better answers.

Winnebago only supply a power connection. There is no antenna. The 8 inch black plastic antennas are for the AM and FM bands in the front entertainment center. You will have as many of these antennas on the roof as you have radios. There are three on my Journey. Good luck,

I absolutely could not find my cb power hookup in my 2013 vista. I wired my cb power directly into the fuse box and grounded onto a fixed bolt under the dash.

That makes sense, thanks all. Neither of those antennas looked like a CB antenna, but never can tell these days.

If there is any provisions for a CB antenna I could not find it on my 2015 Suncruiser. I ended up running a coax to the ladder. There was a 12v pigtail for it.

Winnebago quit putting in new antenna coax in coaches around 2004. They are only supplying power connections now.
