36M shower valve acccess

Has anyone replaced the shower faucet on a 2012 Journey 36M? How much of the wall behind the bedroom folding door did you need to remove to access the shower valves in the corner of the shower? Any advice would be appreciated.

My 2013 has an access panel behind the bifold doors. You can get access there.

Have you checked to see if there is enough slack in the lines to take the faucet off from the front by taking the handles and cover off?

Thanks everyone. By comparing the 2012 and 2013 3D drawings, I see where I need to cut into the paneling behind the bifold door.

I adding showermizer valve and new temperature controlled shower valve. I'll post photos when done.
