Caulking of Shower screen

I recently had a Neo Angle Shower base repaired using an Inlay, had it done professionally. I removed the shower screen giving them full access to the shower base. I have now replaced the shower screen and have been waiting for warmer weather to caulk everything. This is my question. Should I caulk the inside or the outside of the shower screen? My thoughts are to caulk the inside ti keep water from getting into the connection at the wall and getting under the screen where is sits on the base, but I have seen videos where it is suggested to caulk the outside at the exterior or the screen.

Just looking for some direction on the best way to proceed!!

I would do it as you are thinking, that's how my MH original shower is caulked too.
FWIW, about 10 years ago I had both bathrooms in our house remodeled. The installer caulked on both sides. This trapped some water inside the shower enclosure enclosure base and caused it to corrode completely through.

We may speak different languages at times!
I'm not familiar with "screen" and shower being used together. I also have trouble ordering sweet rolls when they only stocked buns in Canada!
Are we speaking of the trim piece where a sliding door fits at the bottom?
I find caulk is a problem to keep clean as it tends to collect dirt and get discolored, so I avoid it showing when possible.

If we are speaking of the track, I look for places to add a line of caulk under the track and try to make sure it covers fully end to end to avoid water getting to the outside and then leave both inner and outer edges of the trim without caulk showing.

Idea is that I am willing to let water go under the track but not to the outside for leaking as the line of caulk stops it. Water that runs under has a path to run out and into the shower pan but stopped from going further out.

Sorry Richard, I am referring to the glass surround, I know it is rotated, it is an old picture and is correct in my file. Really wish this site would start supporting snip/it pictures, would make life so much easier.

Ok, plenty good enough to make sure what we are talking.

What I find fits what my wife likes better is to caulk under and out of sight. Looking at the end of the bottom trim or track, there is sometimes a third metal to make it stronger and that gives me a place where I can put a larger amount of caulk even to be sure it gets down to the pan surface. Then if I lay it in place, pull it up and see that it hit all spots or add a line on the pan itself, just so I make sure it is a good solid line and run it up at the corners just enough to try to head water off from goin out there. Then when I lay the track back down anything that squishes out is usually under the track.
Missing getting the corners right is my big fail!

My wife is one of those that cleans the bathroom with a toothbrush and a magnifier so caulk is a big deal around here!

I did find the caulking instructions from the shower screen Mfg, so I will follow that. It actually recommends vertical caulk on the inside and outside where the screen meets the surround, then horizontal caulk on the outside where the shower screen sits on the shower base, and at the two vertical joints where the three sections join together.
