City Water Intake Winterization 2106DS

City Water Intake
Earlier I had noted that when I had my 2106DS trailer serviced that the RV tech who winterized the trailer did momentarily press the valve located behind the screen on the City Water Intake. I did contact the Service Department at Winnebago and inquired why there was nothing written in the Towables manual about winterizing the City Water Intake. The Winnebago rep. send me an e-mail that indicated nothing really needed to be done to the City Water Intake, otherwise it would have been noted in the Towables manual.
Do any of the more experienced RV'ers agree with what the Winnebago tech advised that nothing needed to be done. Anyone do anything to their City Water Intake during their winterizing their Micro Minnie trailer? I noticed that Camco has a hand pump with a garden hose coupling which would be perfect for injecting some antifreeze into the City Water Intake, anyone use a pump with a garden hose connection on their trailer's City Water Inlet?
