Flushing Hot water tank?

We have a 2017 Sunstar LX 30T. I've flushed the fresh water tank a few times and everything seems to be fine.

But my wife reminded me that I used to periodically flush the hot water tank on our RoadTrek to avoid a rotten egg smell with the hot water running. I don't see anything in my Sunstar manual or in the forums here about doing that. Am I missing something?

Thanks
