No water from city fill 2005 Meridian P39K

Connected to city fill; pressure reg shows 40 psi.
Water pump is off.
Tank fill valve is switched to city fill.
No water from any of the faucets in our coach.
Scratching my head on this one, any help is much appreciated.

Okay, time to begin to divide and sort!
I might question when you say the selector is on fill, pump is off and no water inside?
Should the selector not be to the other position to get water when pump is off? Different labels at times but "fill" would mean fill the tank to me, so what is the other option for using water?

I might ask first if you are certain that water is getting through the hose. I know the regulator is saying pressure but I have little trust, so I might try backing the hose connection off just enough to see a little water come through to that point.
Maybe a gopher built a home in the hose?

If water is getting to the hose connection about the next point inside is the stool. No water there?
The one suspect between the hose port and stool would seem to be the selector knob!
No chance it is broken and setting half way between fill and use, so that neither moves water?
Maybe play with the knob for any strange feel or something of that kind?

Oh I hope not... but sometimes folks connect their city water hose to the black tank rinse and then can't figure out why no water comes out of the faucets. Meanwhile, their black tank over flows and it's a @#$#@# situation.

Other than that. All I can suggest is that the City/Fill valve has been known to fail or the check valve behind it.

On my 39K, I put the valve to "Normal" not "City Fill" if you're wanting to run water to all the faucets.

Thanks gang! We found the problem, it is the pressure regulator. Somehow it was stuck and not allowing any flow through. We fiddled with it and get water to all faucets, etc. However, the Guage doesn't seem to be working accurately so we bought a new one.

Seems like every trip, there is something that adds to the adventure!!

That’s the truth. We bought our motorhome brand new. And while we had “challenges” within days one and two of the purchase this RV has been relatively trouble free. But after 7-years and 52,000+ miles I expect new “adventures” with every trip.

The only thing to discover about this is whether it will be something big… or small.

If you want to make an attempt to save the reg? Hard water deposits can be a problem and a good long soak in some mild acid may help. Vinegar is pretty cheap and easy!

Had that problem once also

We had that problem one time also when we pulled in to Ft Wilderness at DW. I couldn't figure why I could not get water through my hose to the rig to get city water or fill the tank.

So I unscrewed the pressure regulator at the water valve and found a cute little lizard (gecko?) all curled up in the end of the regulator. I don't recall if he survived the experience, but he was removed and we did get water!

Those little dummies are not quite up on the modern world! I just found one that had hidden in my Radial arm saw blade cover.

He DID NOT survive!

We try not to kill them as they do so many good things but with the number of them, it is hard to figure when and where they show up.
The one my wife is most upset about is when they suddenly spring out a flower pot she is holding!
I probalby should not callthem little dummies but that has a bacl story!
There is one that is pretty bold and sets on the back of my deck chair. That's when he/she/ it makes a big show, spreading out their throat to show the bright colors.

The dummy discussion came about when we were trying to decide if he was trying to impress me with his size to scare me or if he was wanting to mate!
I declared it a dummy on those counts !
