LK23- I had a RO installed at home and only changed filters every two years, but the water was good and went through a softner first. I thought about doing the same in the MH but decided on a WS with a prefilter about 5 years ago. It works great and the factory installed undersink filter seems to last a good long time. I just replaced the everpure filter after approximatly 1 1/2 years. The soft water is great and the two filter sems to do a good job.
