Sanitize Fresh Water Tank in Minnie 2327TB Travel Trailer
Smelled rotten egg when I ran water, realized I haven’t drained my fresh water tank. So I wanna sanitize it. Reading up seems like I need to add a cup of bleach (1/4 cup per 15 gallons into 60 gallon tank), run water through all the fixtures, then drain from the low point valves.
Most instructions say bypass the water heater, but I can’t find a bypass — in the water heater panel from outside, under the bathroom sink, or under kitchen sink which is where the water heater is.
Is bypassing the water heater absolutely necessary, and if so can anybody tell me how/where to do that?
