Sewage System Info.

My last unit was used and wasn’t a Winnebago, but the sewage system had a overflow prevention lockout. I don’t know if it was a standard feature or a an after market item or an owner hack. The dealer at the time went out of his way to point it out.
After looking at my manual I couldn’t see anything But today’s question is does anyone know if there is a lockout on Winnebago’s sewage systems. If not do you know if there is an aftermarket kit. Or do I need to talk to my favourite plumber?

I know that the Techma electric toilet has an over flow lockout, but I don't know of any other RV toilets that offer that. Nor do I know of any aftermarket add on to do this - unless you add on a Techma toilet.

We have no idea what RV you have - that would help to know.

Most folks add their RV details to their Signature in their Profile and it shows on every post, like mine below.

If you'd like to do that, too just click on UserCP on the left on the top menubar. Then click on Edit Signature on the Control Panel's left hand column.

Not so much the toilet my previous unit shut off the water system. So there was no sewage overflow I hope I did the signature thing right. But thanks for your reply and advice!

I've never heard of such a preventative device. Perhaps others have.

As, to your signature there is nothing in the file. One thing that folks sometimes do is they fill out the Signature info and then forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit" and as a result the signature isn't save.

If you live in some remote communities in Canada you often have to have freshwater delivered and sewage pumped out on the units is a water shut off if the sewage gets to high so there is no backup. I’m thinking the setup on my old unit was a custom hack the previous owner had installed. It was a nice feature knowing sewage was going to backup. But it’s good to know it’s not a standard thing so I will be more attentive to the levels when my Grandchildren are with us. Again my thanks for your reply.
Stay Safe!!!
