That kind of depends on the situation and what you want to save!
My tearouts have often been to replace the cabinet top, so the sink was not often a keeper, so I just trashed it still attached to the top? When I've changed the top, the sinks have never had enough life left in them to put them back as they are too shoddy looking to put into a new cabinet!
So what are the details of what you are wanting to get done? Pretty much the same as it would be done in a house.
