Strange hose connected nowhere 2018 Drop 1790

So, i see a strange hose in the storage compartment of my 2018 Winnie Drop. It is not connected to anything except a blue lever/valve on one end, the other end is open. Anyone know what it is for? I don't see anywhere to connect it either, nor a place it might be put through out of or into the unit. There are some pics uploaded. I don't wanna try to run say the hot water heater and have it flood the storage compartment since there are electric connections in it.

It is for winterizing , you put the end of the tube in a jug of RV antifreeze. You will have instructions on how to use it in your owner's manual.

Does that look like a "normal "set of tubing for the trailer group? Looks kind of weird for those I have seen and it seems more like a DIY type repair/mod of some sort??

Is there some restriction on using PEX that would make them come in at the right side of the second picture with the braided tube and then transition to PEX for the last few inches to the fitting?
Is the braided and PEX so different that one can't just use a braided that is a few inches longer?
I don't use PEX but it has always seemed one advantage was the ease of use. But that is a loser if it has to be pieced out to work with the fittings. Just looks strange for me?

Is using high strength braided tube normal for a suction tube?

The giveaway is the piece of copper pipe used to splice the connection, homemade as a pro would use plastic barb fittings!

I do not see those points as copper but I would guess brass fittings!
But I think we ARE seeing a hommade solution of some sort and that prety well throws out any real limits on what we are seeing or expecting!

I would still go with agreeing the open ended tube is likely to be a suction tube to pull antifreeze from a jug but then we get into the odd looking valve and how to use it.
Kind of looks like a person who used the scrap box for supplies, so it may take some playing with things to figure what and how to use them.
