Water Filtration Systems Feedback
Hi All:
We are looking to upgrade our water filtration system. We are full timing and travel all over the US and Canada. We always hook up to the campground water supply - we do not boondock - and basically only use the fresh water tank to flush the toilet while in transit.
Our current system is very basic, We use a Camco filter at the water source, run the water through an On the Go softener (I know this does not filter the water), and then through the standard carbon filter mounted in the wet bay.
I am looking at the Clearsource Ultra system. According to the manufacturer - it sounds like this will make nearly all campground water drinkable with a good taste and smell. We would still soften the water after it runs through the filtration system.
They also state that it minimally reduces water pressure (2-5 psi) and will last three months before the filters need to be replaced.
Do any of you use this system and what has been your experience?
I wouid also like to hear about other brands/systems if you have one of those.
Thanks in advance for your help and safe travels!
