Long story short, my ac wasn't working. Went to a dealer for work on it and other things. Dealer says all is good. Pay a large bill and pick up. Ac worked for about 30 min before stopping. Dealer refunded $ and I'm left with no ac.
Now my ac pops the fuse in the thermostat instantly. Inspecting their "work" I'm finding some strange things. Interesting findings detailed here.
From the 12 wire harness inside the unit that I presume goes to themostat from here.
Green/black stripe cut. Bypassed with a white wire going somewhere(presumably to thermostat)
Red/black stripe cut.
Orange/black stripe and white/black stripe not connected anywhere.
Solid blue was cut but then tied back together with connector.
I have two relays in the unit. One has two terminals with nothing connected
I'm seeing ~13vdc across the thermostat fuse.
Anyone familiar with these basement units that might be able to offer some insight?
I have what appear to be hard start capacitors that I don't believe we're there prior to the dealer working on the system. They connect to the capacitors.
I did some research and have found that you have a 2008 Journey 39Z. That's the kind of info we need you to include in your posts requesting help and advice.
I'll add this to your Title of the Thread for you to help you out.

So I'm reviewing the connections and found a manual for the updated control board I have in my system. Found the attached blurb.
The orange wire adapter hasn't been used but I found in box. Now I'm confused.
Looking at attached Pic the coil side should be the right side. That wire is currently connected to the location it further says to connect the white with black stripe to. Then I'm left with orange/black connected to nothing 🤔
Ok after printing the page and reading again I have a lead from comp2 relay coil side plugged into orange/black on 12 wire bundle back to thermostat. White/black now plugged into board at Comp 2 Coil Orange as instructed.
