Dash air not cold

2004 adventurer, model wfg33v, workhorse with 8.1 v8. New compressor, dryer and tested the expansion valve, all good but blowing only slightly cool air. Did notice that low side line was not cold. What could be my problem? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Diesel Pusher, but the concepts maybe the same.

Here's a few diagrams that may help you think through your problem? IMO, it sounds like there is blockage somewhere?

If your condensor is blocked then maybe a IR-Digital thermostat will help you confirm that? ...Where you find a cold spot that's where your blockage lies.

Did you put only the right amount of 134a into your system after you vacuumed it? ...And I assume your system held a vacuum?

Alternatively, some dash control modules may be the source of your problem since it switches on-and-off you inline bi-switches.

Heater/Air Blend Doors can be a problem too. These usually are controlled by vacuum diaphragms, so you need to check these too.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you find.
