Itasca 6.0 overheating with air on

I just bought Itasca 06 and its been running 190 on temperature gauge. And yesterday it was around 100 degrees. Ever time I had the cab air on it was getting up to 220 230 I would turn the air off and it would come down to 210 200. don't know what to do. It has a 6.0 Chevy motor

Normal.

Unless the cap, or something else isn't holding pressure, it won't boil until like 250° F.

There are probably 6-10 models of a gas Itasca, with a Chevy engine. Which model do you have.

My best guess, is you have a clogged radiator, or the thermostat in the cooling system isn't opening all the way. When you add the heat of the A/C the radiator can't keep the engine cool.
Does it matter if you are idling or driving on a level hwy at 55mph?
