Norcold Issue On Shore Power

I have a Norcold fridge in my 2020 29VE. On shore power it is flashing an error code 1. According to the manual that is a problem with the AC heater. It is working fine on propane. The manual says call for service. I am not inclined to this type repair. Anything to try before I call an RV tech?

I asked the same question on a different site and the response I received may have fixed the problem. I post it here so if others have an issue it’s something to try.

I had tried turning the fridge off and back on this didn’t help. The suggestion was to disconnect the power to reset it. This appears to have corrected the issue as for the last couple days it has been working as designed.

If it's just a bad heating element it might be replaceable but it may not be accessible thru the outside vent door. See this thread:
