Soft Start install questions

Our 2018 View 24D has a Coleman Mach 10 15,000btu rooftop air conditioner with heat pump (model 45004-6792). I’ve purchased a Coleman Soft Start Control Kit, 1497-3601 and I’m about ready to install it.

As I look at the installation instruction booklet that came with the kit, the wiring process seems a bit fuzzy. Has anyone that has tackled this seemingly simple installation any advice/tips/steps to offer?

Sure would appreciate your sharing how it’s done.

Thanks!

I had these installed on my two A/C units this week. The installer said that even though the kits were made for my Coleman-Mach 8 Plus units that the wiring as a bit different on each one.

Here's a video for the Installation - but after what my installer said you may find it somewhat different.

PS:My A/C's were totally different than yours and as such were totally different than the above video - So, proceed with caution.

Thanks creativepart … I watched that video and several others after seeing what’s in my actual rooftop unit electrical box is a bit different. So far can’t find a good match

Hoping that someone has blazed this trail before me!
