start refrigerator w/trailer covered?

can I start my Dometic DM2652... on 110VAC only while the trailer cover is still in place? I'm preparing for a trip, need to start pre-cooling fridge, and would like to leave cover on another 24hr. 2018 Micro Minnie thanks!

I'm one of those very conservative guys when it comes to these multi-power frigs. My response is 'no.' But - is another 24 hours with the cover on that important? And - did you know you could uncover the RV - start the frig on gas (which is more effective for a cool down) - and immediately load it with cold and frozen items (which is very effective)?

Your absorption fridge works on heat (!) and requires airflow around the cooling mechanism. So, I would be a hard NO about any operation with the TT covered.
