Winnebago Dealers in the Northeast

We are getting ready to order a new Winnebago Adventurer 35P. Can you recommend a dealership with a good reputation in NY, NJ, PA, Va? The online reviews are pretty poor. CW has a list of poor reviews. Any experience with the two Winnebago dealerships in PA? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention them by name. One is in Shoemakersville, PA and the other is in West Chester, PA. Thank you for any advice!

Not familiar with any in those states . . . but if you went a little further out there is Flagg RV in Massachusetts and Cullum Maxey in Nashville. Both are good Winnebago Dealers.

Camping World would definitly be out for me as we were gonna purchase a unit from them and they tried to change the trade numbers in the middle of the deal. WE WALKED.

Wakley's RV in North East Pa. Is excellent. Both the sale and service were above expectations.

Ranger,
Thanks! Some of the suggested dealers are not listed on the Winnebago site for the Adventurer/Suncruiser but I will call them today. Thanks for your response!

I have not dealt with the dealer in West Chester but while at the Pa Winnebago State Rally last year they brought 1/2 a dozen coach's up to State Collage to display. Seems like a dealership that will take coach's 200 miles just to display them to current owners say to me that the dealer is willing to go above and beyond JMO.

Bob45,
I just purchased a 2015 Adventurer 38Q in October from Wakley's. I highly recommend them.

Thanks Primetc,
Unfortunately, Wakley's is no longer able to order the Adventurer.

I recommend traveling to Forest City, IA and order from Lichstinn's RV. Call ahead and schedule a VIP tour of the factory, it was a lot of fun.

I bought my last RV in 2008 from Tom Schaeffer's in Shoemakersville after buying my previous 2 RV's from Harold's in Bath, PA (all Winnebago's).

I switched mainly for the service as Tom S.'s has way more techs and services Onan, satellite TV, etc. that Harold's did not do. Tom S. also coordinates service with the local Freightliner dealer in some cases. I also had an extended warranty and Tom S. would get payment directly from the warranty company without me having to shell out the money and wait for reimbursement.

Realize that the initial purchase is the easy part. With any vehicle as complex as an RV, service is key to enjoying your investment!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the feedback.
ru499- Colonial doesn't sell Suncruisers anymore. Thank you!
Tom-NC- I called Cedar Ridge, now "Escape RV." They'll see if they are allowed to order since they don't carry the Adventurer.
bkervaski- Trying to figure out how to swing all the travel time to Lichtsinn!
RVThere- Thanks, I called Tom S and I'm waiting to speak with someone about pricing.
