2022 Micro Minnie FLX 2108FBS Winterizing

Hi all,

Like many of you, I'll be winterizing my Micro Minnie FLX 2108 in a month or so. With my previous Jayco, instead of using the anti-freeze method, I used an air compressor to blow out the water lines, which worked great. I've been looking on YouTube for some guidance on that, but only find the anti-freeze method demonstrated.

Does anyone know about doing it with air with this particular model? I was wondering if the fact that it has the Truma on-demand hot water heater it might be different somehow. Not a big deal if I has to use the pink anti-freeze, I just prefer the air method.

Thanks for any info on this!

I don't remember the details but do remember there are problems with the Truma and freezing when folks thought they hadit drained!
Do you get an owners manual with the trailer?

On my 2022 2108DS FLX I drain the small reservoir on the water heater and remove the filter. I then bypass the water heater via the bypass valves under the bathroom “closet” then proceed with the compressed air blow out. Two winters now with no problems. The heater draining is simple and tool free. The process for draining and winter storage is in the Truma water heater manual.

Hey Tim, like others we are also going to winterize, for us the first time.
Local RV center has a drive thru option so we are going to take that. They only drain and fill I’m told, so picked a pancake air compressor and plan to stop them after their drain, blow it out then fill with pink - belt and suspenders, but will be stored indoors heated space, if nothing goes wrong.
Don’t have on demand hot water but pretty darn cold in the northeast!

Great, that makes sense. I'm familiar with the Truma water heater draining, and yes it's easy.

Thanks Wayne!
