CCI Controls made the propane detector for my coach. I attempted to call them several times because it alarms when no propane is present. I have left several messages for them to call me and absolutely no response. They never answer their telephones. Anybody know if they are still in existence?

Catpowered, I just call CCI here in CA, try 323-560-6060, I talked to a lady named Lee at ext 127; she's ready to help.
I called her at 3:50pm PST.

Good luck.

Thanks, Gary. I called her and she didn't answer the telephone either. I left a message to call (again) and we will see where that goes.

I bought a replacement for my SunCruiser unit about a month ago and had a little trouble getting through, but ordered the unit and it came in about 5 days. I would suggest removing it and looking carefully at the plug in connection and make sure you get the correct plug. Installation is very simple.

We had to replace ours in July. I got it through Winnebagoparts.com. I think it was about $55.

Ours started screaming last spring. We removed it and swabbed it out with alcohol, let it dry, and reinstalled. It tested fine with a butane lighter - but we went ahead and ordered another one through our RV store. $55 is about right.

Norm,
What parts did you swab with alcohol? We're trading our Brave in soon and it's the only thing on the whole coach that doesn't work properly. I hope our new Suncruiser is as trouble free as our wonderful Brave. We're starting to get the new buyers jitters

CCI Controls IS in business and customer service oriented. I finally did contact them, sent my wayward LP detector in, and received a new one in return. This was the second return of my LP detector and the one I returned had a 2006 mfg. date stamped on it. I am happy with the results.
