Believe me, I'm seriously considering doing just that very thing. If, and that is a very big "if", I am able to find a reliable shop with some good references from other RVers that would be able to assure me they could do the job for the $1,000 without pulling the radiator/CAC and have the ability to install an extender on the grease zerk. Without the extension it will take me longer to get to and grease that one place than all the rest of the chassis put together.

I guess I'm lucky...On mine I just have to pull one panel in the closet to get to the fitting...I also have a good reasonable Cat dealer in my area...Where do you live...Maybe someone can chime in here with a good shop in your area...
